Intel - Scalable Savings for Smart Buildings (2017)
In collaboration with Intel, Rudin Management was able to create and deploy the world’s first OS for buildings.
Intel’s scalable IoT architecture helped scale up the solution and rapidly deploy Nantum to 17 buildings in a single year, resulting in 30% less energy use and $5.4M in annual savings.
Nantum AI was also established as an independent subsidiary to offer Nantum to other real estate interests.
Nantum has since been qualified as an Intel IoT Market Ready Solution with expected annual savings of $0.55 per square foot for a typical installation.
